La Presa de Chira belongs to a village called Cercados de Araña, in San Bartolomé de Tirajana. It is the second biggest reservoir of Gran Canaria, and it is considered one of the most beautiful places around the island. It is a perfect place for families...camping is allowed, and many local people choose this place to go for one day trip. Specially recommended in winter, when almond trees start showing their beauty!
